Message Store Viewer

The Message Store Viewer (mdbvu32.exe) is an EDK tool similar to the Address Book Viewer. The binary executable is located in the "bin" directory of your Platform SDK installation. This tool is focused on MAPI message stores. You can access and modify properties of message store objects such as individual messages, folders or message store itself. In addition to this, Message Store Viewer gives you access to other important things such as status table, session, and others. Obviously, a lot time have been invested in development of this viewer. It is worthwhile exploring its capabilities. It is quite likely that you'll find it useful if you develop a message store provider or interact with one. For example, I found it invaluable when exploring folders hierarchy.

As many other development tools, mdbvu32.exe is a part of Microsoft development tools collection (iTools.exe), which you can download from Microsoft MSDN web site.
